Crown Ducal Orange Tree

  The Orange Tree pattern was designed was by Norman Keates and was produced by AJ Richardson under the Crown Ducal name in 1925. The tableware came in three basic shapes, round, square and octagonal. Many extra pieces were produced, and no-one quite knows how many, which makes Orange Tree a real collecting adventure.
   I first came across it in the 1960's, in an antigue shop.  I liked it & bought the 6 trios on offer. The rest is history!
